“Little Miss Higgins is a fresh and welcome addition to the Canadian blues scene. I love her selection of material, old school vintage sound and her enthusiasm. She has the respect of and holds her own with veterans twice her age. And I love that she's based out of Nokomis, Saskatchewan.”

Background on Little Miss:
Little Miss Higgins is a unique musician and storyteller. She bucks against conformity by making sure her art comes first, yet believes in respecting tradition and roots. She tours with partner Foy Taylor and together they are creating innovative guitar work based in a country blues style and an unforgettable, “top hat” stage show.

Little Miss Higgins has also completed recordings for a second full-length CD due out this spring. The songs were recorded by Rob Smith at Rocky Mountain Recording Studios in Calgary. Produced by Tim Williams, it is an extension of this artist’s unconventional and theatrical vocal and songwriting style.
Highlights:
· 2006 Western Canadian Music Award Nominee: Outstanding Blues Recording for debut album, Cobbler Shop Sessions
· Independent Music Awards Finalist (USA) with “Ferry Boat Blues”
· Wrote music for and performed in Globe Theatres production of George Dandin
· Recipient of Canada Council for the Arts Specialized Music Program and the Saskatchewan Arts Board Independent Artist Grant
